confused Today I slept until 4:40 once I got home from my paper route (which requires me to get up at 2am).
This is bad because this weekend is CiderFest, here at my house, and my son spent the entire day out with the CiderFest people and, although I'm sure that's really fine with them, I don't want to look like a bad mother. Sigh. It's probably fine.
Also I wasted the entire day. Sleep, bah.
On the other hand, I had a dream where I was driving Lev to my mother's house with Raymond and Nathan in the back seat. Ray must have been crying, because I started singing a Jimmy Buffet song at him, then looked back up at Lev, who was posting on his laptop how annoying it was to listen to me sing. He saw I was looking, changed it really quickly, and then came up to me after we'd gotten out of the car and asked if I thought it would be okay if he asked my brother (Nathan) out. I said "Okay." although I was very confused, and then we went into mom's house, which was full of dishes. Nathan was supposed to be doing the dishes, so I volunteered Lev to help him in the interest of providing an opportunity, and Lev agreed. Also, Lev, you were wearing a skuzzy t-shirt and a pair of sweats.
I don't know how I could even begin to interpret that.

Happy Birthday to me
I'm 26 now. You're 25. Just thought I'd let you know since you dropped out of my life so utterly completely despite emails and such from me asking what happened.Patti too...sighs. I give up and officially close the book on my past from grade 12 to the womb. Seems you all have done likewise. If you think I''m upset about this, well you would be correct. But I can't force people I consider dear friends to keep in touch. So I roll with the punches...
On another note, seeing as you're of a literary mind, I'm serving Gallaudet's student newspaper this year as Managing Editor. I've brought the paper to a new level of excellence and credibility, to the point where you actually see people READING the fucker while walking on campus, and trash cans filled with the newest edition are unheard of this year (though frequently common in years past...) I'm thinking I'll take over the New York Times next, and fire all those right-wingers. :)

Cross Posted in case the Internet eats it up...apologies if this annoys you.well i have not been on live journal to post or read for a very long time. I would like to point out that MY email has not changed, and if your information changed, then you could have graciously sent a note to me alerting me of that. I sent emails and never got a reply...so I stopped sending them, thinking you weren't interested. I don't beat my head on the concrete for long. It tends to give headaches and life is too short for that. As such, I totally knew it was your birthday (which is why I correctly say you are 25.) However, having no contact info, and also not remembering LiveJournal till recently, I had no way to express my wishes for you. Be that as it may, you were not alone. 99% of my family also has decided to forget I was ever born. Much bitterness and daggers are tossed their way. Heh...
I just finished typing an article on the presidential selection process for Gallaudet (we'll be getting a new one, as our current one is stepping down after 17 years, and all eyes are on the selection...will the person be deaf, or represent deaf interests? Or will they be another Elizabeth Zinser, who was angrily ousted by student protests and the shutting down of campus for a week when the Board of Trustees picker the hearing bitch over two, TWO, very qualified deaf candidates?) My brain is mush, cuz the article's damn good. So I'm going to sleep in a bit. Thanks for making contact...again. This time, try not to disappear. Being invisible is my talent, and no I won't share.
